Ground conditions are suitable for planting corn in north Iowa, but cold nights in the forecast have held back all but a few farmers in the area. Ground conditions are dry, and there is a lack of sub soil moisture. Rain is in the forecast and I expect by mid next week most farmers will be in full swing.
