Crop Report 10/17/12: Putting the “I” in Harvest

Corn harvest is was 87% complete in both Illinois and Iowa, according to this week’s USDA Crop Report. Although Indiana trails with 61% of corn harvested, all three “I” states remain above the five-year average. Soybeans harvested stand at 71% across 18 states, according to a recent article by The Crop Site. Across the three “I” states, soybeans have reached 93% harvested in Iowa, 69% in Illinois and 51% in Indiana.
