In the month of May, Southwest Minnesota received more than 17 inches of rain. As of June 1, they have seen 9 inches. This abundance of rain has caused some drowning out and a need for replanting. Planting took place on April 27 at this plot, and the corn is all around stage V5-V6. No signs of insects or disease pressure at this time. Pre-emergence herbicide was sprayed, and there is no heavy weed pressure at this time.
